How do I make a category visible to staff only?

Setting up a private area just for my moderators. I found the per-tag permissions but can't work out how to hide a whole category from regular members. Am I missing a setting?

You want a whole category hidden, not just per-tag — those are different settings. Category visibility lives under the category's permissions, "Who can view". Set it to your mod group and regular members won't see it in the list or search.
